| 產品參數 | 【產品介紹】Folliculin, or FLCN, functions as a
tumor suppressor. It forms a complex with novel folliculin-interacting proteins 1 and 2 (FNIP1 and FNIP2), and 5'-AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), an important energy sensor in cells that negatively regulates mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) (1). FLCN is associated with Smith-Magenis syndrome. Mutations in FLCN are associated with Birt-Hogg-Dube syndrome, which is characterized by fibrofolliculomas, renal tumors, lung cysts, and pneumothorax (2). Specificity A recombinant GST-tagged protein fragment corresponding to human FLCN was used as an immunogen. This antibody was developed as part of a collaboration between Epitomics, the National Cancer Institute's Center for Cancer Research and the lab of Marston Linehan. |
