dishevelled (dsh) protein family. The vertebrate dsh proteins have approximately 40% amino acid sequence similarity with Drosophila dsh. Dishevelled 2 is a 90-kDa protein that undergoes posttranslational phosphorylation to form a 95-kDa cytoplasmic protein, which may play a role in the signal transduction pathway mediated by multiple Wnt proteins. The mechanisms of dishevelled function in Wnt signaling are likely to be conserved among metazoans (1). Recommended Applications WB Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on F9 cell lysate using anti-Phospho-Dishevelled 2 (pS143) RabMAb (cat. #5248-1). Cells were either (A) untreated or (B) treated with Alkaline Phosphatase. Specificity A phospho specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Serine 143 of human Dishevelled 2 was used as an immunogen. This antibody only detects Dishevelled 2 phosphorylated at Serine 143. |
