converts dihydrofolate into tetrahydrofolate, a methyl group shuttle required for the de novo synthesis of purines, thymidylic acid, and certain amino acids. DHFR deficiency has been linked to megaloblastic anemia (1). Recommended Applications WB, IP Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 IP: 1:10 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) HeLa, (B) Jurkat, (C) U937, and (D) 293T cell lysates using anti-DHFR RabMAb (cat. #5237-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human DHFR was used as an immunogen. |
