the Regulator of Complement Activation (RCA) gene cluster and a protein with twenty short concensus repeat (SCR) domains. This protein is secreted into the bloodstream and has an essential role in the regulation of complement activation, restricting this innate defense mechanism to microbial infections. Mutations in this CFH have been associated with hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS) and chronic hypocomplementemic nephropathy (1). Recommended Applications WB Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 Species Reactivity * Human *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) A549, (B) fetal lung, (C) fetal liver, (D) human kidney, and (E) human plasma lysates using anti-CFH RabMAb (cat. #5374-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human CFH was used as an immunogen. |
