It possesses intrinsic kinase activity and an endoribonuclease activity and it is important in altering protein expression as a response to endoplasmic reticulum-based stress signals (1). Products Data Western blot analysis on 293T cell lysates using anti-Phospho-IRE1 (pS724) RabMAb (cat. #3881-1). Cells were either (A) untreated (B) treated with Calyculin A. Specificity A phospho specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Serine 724 of human IRE1 was used as an immunogen. This antibody only detects IRE1 phosphorylated at Serine 724. |
