the beta subunit found in the integrin families, f o r ming a heterodimer integrin recept o r through non-covalent bonding with various integrin alpha subunits. Integrin heterodimer containing Integrin beta-1 binds to various cell surface a n d extracellular proteins (CD49a-f, CD51) to mediate cell to cell a n d cell to matrix adhesion (1). Integrin beta-1 plays a critical role in the cell adhesion a n d recognition in embryogenesis, hemostasis, immune response, tissue repair, metastatic diffusion of tum o r cells a n d development (2, 3, 4). Recommended Applications WB, IHC, FC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:500 IHC: 1:100 - 250 FC: 1:10 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human *Cross reactivity determined by western blot only.
