proinflammatory cytokine secreted by activated T-lymphocytes. It is a potent inducer of the maturation of CD34-positive hematopoietic precursors into neutrophils. IL-17R alpha is a ubiquitous type I membrane glycoprotein that binds with low affinity to interleukin 17A. Interleukin 17A and its receptor play a pathogenic role in many inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Like other cytokine receptors, this receptor likely has a multimeric structure (1). Recommended Applications WB, IP, FC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:10,000 - 50,000 IP: 1:10 - 100 FC: 1:10 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) HeLa, (B) Raji, and (C) RAW264.7 cell lysates using anti-IL-17R alpha RabMAb (cat. #5112-1). Flow cytometric analysis of permeabilized HeLa cells using anti-IL-17R alpha RabMAb (red) (catalog # 5112-1) or a rabbit IgG (negative) (green). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human IL-17R alpha was used as an immunogen. |
