ITGA6. Integrins are integral cell-surface proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. A given chain may combine with multiple partners resulting in different integrins. For example, alpha 6 may combine with beta 4 in the integrin referred to as TSP180, or with beta 1 in the integrin VLA-6. Integrins are known to participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signaling (1). Recommended Applications WB, IHC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 IHC: 1:100 - 250 Species Reactivity * Human *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) JAR, (B) HT-1376, and (C) human platelet lysates using anti-CD49f / Integrin alpha 6 RabMAb (cat. #3883-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue using anti-CD49f / Integrin alpha 6 RabMAb (cat. #3883-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in the extracellular domain of human CD49f / Integrin alpha 6 was used as an immunogen. |
