| 產(chǎn)品參數(shù) | 【產(chǎn)品介紹】KLK2 is a serine protease produced by
secretory epithelial cells in the prostate (1). It is a glandular kallikrein that cleaves Met-Lys and Arg-Ser bonds in kininogen to release Lys-bradykinin (2). KLK2 can activate the proforms of PSA (prostate-specific antigen) and urokinase type plasminogen activator and inactivate plasminogen activator inhibitor-1, suggesting a possible role in a proteolytic cascade associated with prostate cancer. Thus, it may promote tumor growth, and metastasis and inhibition of KLK2 activity may, therefore, slow down tumor spread (1). Recommended Applications WB, ICC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 ICC: 1:50 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) LnCaP, (B) Molt-4, (C) human seminoma, and (D) PC-3 lysates using anti-KLK2 RabMAb (cat. #5341-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human KLK2 was used as an immunogen. |
