protein (HDLBP), also known as vigilin, specifically binds HDL molecules. It plays a role in cell sterol metabolism and may function in the removal of excess cellular cholesterol (1, 2). HDLBP contains KH domains that function in RNA binding. It has also been reported to bind tRNA, facilitate its export from the nucleus, and control translation efficiency (3). Recommended Applications WB, ICC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 ICC: 1:100 - 250 Species Reactivity * Human, Mouse, Rat *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) HepG2, (B) 293T, (C) Jurkat, (D) HeLa, (E) RAW 264.7, (F) PC-12, and (G) NIH/3T3 cell lysates using anti-HDLBP RabMAb (cat. #5403-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human HDLBP was used as an immunogen. |
