arginine vasopressin. This receptor belongs to the subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors which includes AVPR1B, V2R and OXT receptors. Its activity is mediated by G proteins that stimulate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. AVPR1A mediates cell contraction and proliferation, platelet aggregation, release of coagulation factor and glycogenolysis (1). Recommended Applications WB Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 Species Reactivity * Human *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) MCF-7, (B) fetal lung, and (C) A549 lysates using anti-AVPR1A RabMAb (cat. #5256-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human AVPR1A was used as an immunogen. |
