transport ATPase family and has several membrane-spanning domains, an ATPase consensus sequence, a hinge domain, a phosphorylation site, and at least 2 putative copper-binding sites. It functions as a monomer, exporting copper out of the cells, such as the efflux of hepatic copper into the bile. Mutations in ATP7B have been associated with Wilson disease (WD) (1). Recommended Applications WB, ICC, FC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 ICC: 1:100 - 250 FC: 1:10 - 100 Species Reactivity * Human *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on (A) Caco-2 and (B) HepG2 cell lysates using anti-ATP7B RabMAb (cat. #5320-1). Flow cytometric analysis of permeabilized HepG2 cells using anti-ATP7B RabMAb (red) (catalog # 5320-1) or a rabbit IgG (negative) (green). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues on the C-terminus in human ATP7B was used as an immunogen. |
